Cerro Otto`s cableway, one of the most important attractions in Bariloche, has announced that two support lifting cables will be replaced, in order to guarantee its cable cars operations safety.

In May, after a deep assessment and technical advice from INTI`s specialists, it was decided to replace the two steel wire ropes.

As a historical supplier, IPH manufactured two reels of 2.60 m diameter for Cerro Otto with 15 tons of galvanized steel core wire and compacted, of a 38 mm diameter and 2100 meters length, each.
